In 2026, MSA expanded its flagship girls' education campaign across Maridi County, reaching over 5,000 students in 12 schools.

The campaign — themed "Girls Decide Today and Save Your Future" — brought together women role models, teachers and community leaders to speak directly with girls about the importance of staying in school.

What We Achieved

  • 5,000+ girls reached across 12 schools
  • 50 full 4-year scholarships awarded
  • 30 weekly Girls' Talk sessions held
  • 1,890 community members engaged through outreach

Why It Matters

Early marriage and unwanted pregnancy remain the biggest barriers to girls' education in South Sudan. By speaking directly to girls and their families, MSA is breaking the cycle — one conversation at a time.
