Challenges & Adaptation

Unseasonal Rainfall

Heavy evening rains delayed planned sessions.

Adaptive Strategy

Sessions were rescheduled to morning hours to prevent weather disruptions and guarantee strong turnout.

Community Fire Safety Infrastructure

In Mudubai and Mburoko Bomas, community members launched a collaborative initiative to construct physical firebreaks surrounding the homes of vulnerable residents, local markets and public facilities. Additionally, Mburoko established designated safe assembly zones during fire outbreaks — demonstrating a transition from disaster response to proactive community protection.
